Getting a plastic card

Check whether your name and surname are correctly indicated on the card

You shall receive personal identification number(PIN code) together with the card in the closed envelope , which is necessary to make cash withdrawal from ATM and from the bank

it is not possible to restore the PIN code in case it is either lost or forgotten :

in case the card is lost, a new card has to be issued
-
upon payment of relevant fee a new card is issued and the old one is revoked.

Upon receiving a new card it is necessary to sign on its back side, on a place specially designed for signature

Try to keep away from magnetic fields. It can damage your card.

Activation of the card/cash withdrawal

For security reasons you will get the card blocked

The card is acticated at any ATM once the code is correctly entered

It is possible to change the PIN code through ATM
-
After transaction is made, do not forget to take cash, receipt and the card from the ATM
-
Take the amount and the card from the ATM in a timely manner since in case of delay the card or the amount may be retained by the ATM

In case you are not allowed to get the cash, check the balance and validity of the card

The card is valid till the date indicated on it

In case wrong PIN code is entered three times, the card will be blocked

Payments through the Card

If payment is made through terminal, request receipt/slip, carefully check the correctness of the amount indicated on it and put your signature;

In case you decide to cancel transaction or return already purchased item, request cancellation receipt.

Safety rules for card usage

It is not admissible to write PIN code on the card, to keep the PIN code and the card together, to hand over the card and the PIN code to third parties (to the bank employees amongst them)

Once you make a cash withdrwal, make sure that no one (standing behind you) can see your PIN code

During the online transactions use sites which have safety certification; if the transactions are made from such pages, then internet address should start from https:

While registering on the internet site pay attention to the payment periods (the payment can be one-time or monthly)

While doing online shopping please avoid using common computer (for example at the internet café;)

While using the terminal make sure that the transaction is made in front of you

Check your card statements on a regular basis

If there is transaction you have not made, immediately inform the BANK
-
Upon termination of the card or once the relationship with Bank is stopped the card should be damaged in front of you
